TechnicalOne receiver and 4 belt packs operate in the C6 Band, and the other in the B4 band. That doesn't mean much to people who do not manage large Telex installations. What that means to you is that for each base station set, you have 720 transmit, and 720 receive frequencies to chose from. That's a total of 1440 frequencies per base station. With that many frequency combinations, you are almost guaranteed to find enough radio spectrum to operate this system in almost any venue. RefurbishmentThis system came to us from another rental agency. Telex gear is rock solid, so I knew a good value when I saw one. As you can see in the before and after photo photo to the right, the system had seen better days. All of the equipment was stripped down to the last screw, thoroughly cleaned, and refurbished. This included sand blasting, and powder coating all of the metal parts with a fresh satin black finish, and replacing all of the labels, and antennas with fresh parts from Telex. The system looks and performs like new, but we can offer it at a competitive rental rate. The refurbishment of this system went so well, in fact, that we offer the service to other Telex owners to completely clean, strip, powder coat, and rebuild your belt packs using fresh parts from Telex where necessary. Prices for this service will start at $150 per belt pack. Antennas, lids, and decals are extra. We can also offer custom laser engraving of logos, and text into the surface of the final unit at an added cost (TBD). |
