BTR-800      Kenny Green from Lumina  is our first client with the pleasure of trying our new Telex BTR 800 intercom system this week!   The new system boasts many features that allow it to interface with virtually anything!   The design is frequency agile, and bullet proof to withstand the rigors of the road.  The system comes bundled with two BTR-800 base stations in a rack along with a 2-channel Telex base station, lighted power strip, and eight TR-800 body packs.  Beyer Dynamic DT-108 single muff, and DT-109 dual muff headsets are available.   Also, ten Telex single channel wired belt packs are available.

After 2 years in Santa Clara, pressures of our current economy are necessitating a move into cheaper digs!  Beginning in November , 2008, and concluding before the end of December, all operations, including rentals will be operated out of our rural Boulder Creek studio in the Santa Cruz mountains.  Our inventory will be upgraded, and enhanced to reduce storage space, and maximize utility.

The Roomie     Shooting has completed for an indie student film entitled "The Roomie"  Director Alexis Rudd created The Roomie as a student film project.  The Roomie is a comedy sketch about three bachelors who are on a mission to find the perfect roommate.  This comedy sketch was shot to mimic britsh comedic style, as well as shooting style.   Smashwolf Productions provided the camera system, camera support, and post production ingest devices.  Lots of camera motion was involved including dolly work, fast pans, fast zooms, and focus pulls.

The Batt at OddBall 07     Every once in a while we get to do an event where the creative juices can flow.  Unfortunately, the cameras are not always at the ready, or we're just too darn busy to take pictures.  Every once in a while, though, we get a gem worth sharing.  I'd like to take this opportunity to show you the faces of the dedicated staff, without whom none of our work would be possible.

The picture to the left is DJ Jean Battiato at OddBall on Halloween 2007.  Behind her, you can see the laser crew's perch.  Jean has a multitude of credits to her name.  Her professional touch has graced our stage too many times to count, and I cannot thank her enough
